I have been busy

Well I have been busy doing endless loads of laundry and dishes and toddler chasing. But on rare occasion I manage to have all children asleep at the same time whilst not passing out myself. That is when I get to make things. So here are some more of the items I have sneakily created in a dark room while trying not to wake my family.

This is my newest ring sling I have made. These are angly comfortable, especially with a toddler because she falls asleep so quickly in these things and I still have full use of my arms so I can still push a shopping cart and get things done.

Free House Party!

So I have been following the couponmom.com website and forums over the last several months because I have decided it is a good idea to save money and couponing is actually pretty fun. It is a lot like a scavenger hunt. Anyway, about two months ago someone mentioned that they were selected as a host on a website called www.houseparty.com and it intrigued me so I went and checked it out and signed myself up to see if I could be a host. A couple of days ago I did get accepted as a finalist for a McDonald's McNugget and Shrek forever after party. Yay!!!! It is always exciting to win things, isn't it? I thought they would just send me come chicken nugget coupons but it turns out it is so much more awesome than that. Well what they do is they send you a "party package" in the mail a few days before your party is scheduled and I just found out what will be in my pack...here it is...

My Story - This is the story of my life as I know it. My name is Kristina and I am a mother of two highly intelligent, beautiful little girls and a step-mother of five also very intelligent and sweet children. I met my husband when he was a body piercer at a local tattoo studio he got me into it and I love it. Three years ago we decided we wanted to open our own tattoo and body piercing studio. Two years ago on October 27th, 2007 we succeeded in opening the doors of Anchors Aweigh tattoo & body piercing of Sugar Land, TX. Then to my unexpected surprise I found myself pregnant again with a girl named Madeline Pearl whose due date would be Oct. 27th 2008. She held off though to be born on Halloween. Having another baby has thrown things off with my plans and the studio. For now I am taking some time to raise my family to be strong by managing the shop from home, though I do still work by appointment and plan to be taking some shifts soon, now that my baby is older and weened. Meanwhile I am always coming up with side projects.

My side projects - for several years now i have been planning on creating a baby clothing and accessory line. Of being a mother of small children and owning a business, getting things done often takes a lot longer than imagined. However long it takes though, I do not plan on giving up. I have made some prototypes so far.
